Believing Mama / Owner: Jessica Aspiras Cole

He Never Failed Me Yet!

Back in High School Chorus we learned a gospel song by Robert Ray that has stuck with me throughout my life:

I will sing of God's mercy, everyday, every hour, He gives me power.

I will sing and give thanks to Thee for all the dangers, toils and snares that He has brought me out.

He is my God and I'll serve Him, no matter what the test.

Trust and never doubt, Jesus will surely bring you out, He never failed me yet.

He's Never Left My Side, So Why Should I?

I've had my fair share of obstacles to climb in my 45 years of life, starting with the insecure chubby little girl who couldn't find love until she was nearly 35 to being diagnosed with mental illness at just 12-years-old and being hospitalized a total of 5 times since then. I've learned that I'm an overcomer, and I wouldn't have made it anywhere in my life without the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

More recently, my husband and I were blessed with two sons, and I gave birth back to back to two premature Irish Twins, who, praise the Lord, only had short stays in the NICU; but only 7 months after having my second, I was back in the Operating Room undergoing an L4-L5 spinal fusion surgery, something not typical for someone my age but instead someone 20+ years older.

But, just when I thought I had life finally figured out, I came down with an excruciatingly painful chronic condition known as Occipital Neuralgia, which I have been living with going on 4 years -- think electrical burning pinching sensations continuously shooting from the base of your skull to the top of your head, where every day the pain starts at a 6 and ends at an 8 out of 10, but on some days it goes to a 10++.

Through it all, my one ever constant is my Father God. I can come to Him at any time of the day -- In the quietness of the night when everyone is asleep, while driving in the car, during deep breaths when my boys are driving me nuts. He comforts me and sustains me, always. I will praise Him in and through any storm. He has never left my side, so why should I? He is what gets me through each and every day.

Mamas, I hope you have that same relationship with Jesus Christ. He's such a good, good Father. Believe me, if anyone knows, I do.

If you're questioning a relationship with Him or why or how He could touch someone's life, read more about my testimony below. And, then feel free to send me an email at Jessica@BibleBelievingMamas.com if you'd like to learn more about becoming saved. It's the single most important decision in your life, and I promise, one you will never live to regret.

May you be blessed.
