bible Verses for Your Mama's heart

Mamas Need Strength and Encouragement, too...

Mamas are often the primary caretakers of the home -- too busy filling everyone else's cups full while neglecting their own. But, you know what? We need strength and encouragement, too! And, what better place to begin to build yourself up than the Word of God?

Below you'll find a collection of Bible verses I hope you'll find useful depending on whatever situation you may find yourself. I know turning to Scripture always helps me in my time of need and even on those days when I simply want to say, "Thank you, Lord."

I've also included a small section at the bottom of Bible verses and passages I think might be helpful to share with your children as you're raising them to be believers of Christ. They may not be able to memorize scripture just, yet, or they may, but just reading His word together with them can not only bring you closer together, it ultimately brings them closer to their Creator and Lord Savior Jesus Christ.

If you're interested in hearing from other Believing Mamas who have openly shared their testimonies along with their favorite passages of scripture, check out the link below.

I hope your heart will be blessed through God's Word today.

"...pay attention to my words; listen closely to my sayings. Don’t lose sight of them; keep them within your heart.”  - Proverbs 4:20-21 (CSB)

Scripture to fill your cup of needs

On Motherhood

  • “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”  - Proverbs 31:25-30 (NIV)

  • “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” - Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

  • “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs‬ ‭22‬:‭6‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
